What's in a name?

So last week, on the way to horseback riding lessons, Avery got on the subject of names. Sophie was sleeping in her car seat and I find that this is one of the better opportunities to get Avery to have open, candid conversation. So something was said about whether names are "good" or not. I asked Avery, "so do you like your name?" And she replies, "well, no not really. It is not a grown up name like Brittney Spears". I nearly drove us off the road. I think it is hilarious that a pop star's name has more clout than the one Brian and I chose. Guess Lynn Spears got something right!
